If  you are using a Lucky Mobile phone and are having trouble connecting to the internet or you just bought a prepaid phone and brought it over to Lucky Mobile, you may probably need to check the data or internet settings on the phone

These settings are required for you to be able to browse the internet, and send or receive picture / multimedia messages, and they vary from carrier to carrier, so we are going to show you the exact settings you will need

In order to setup the APN Settings on your phone, if you are using an android device, these are the steps you should follow

First, go to Settings menu on the phone, or you can slide down the notification bar and click on the settings icon,  from there, please select Network and then Mobile networks, on some phones you may need to hit on more first.

Now you will see the Access Points Menu or APN menu revealed, go in there and Add a new APN.  Enter the following settings:

Name: Lucky Mobile
APN: connect
Proxy: <Leave in Blank>
Port: <Leave in Blank>
Username: wapuser1
Password:  wap
Server: <Leave in Blank>
MMSC: http://mms.luckymobile.ca/mms/wapenc
APN type: default,supl, MMS – for some Samsung devices, you should see a radio button that says internet+MMS, so use this one

After typing in all the information, Click on Save and Exit the menu.  If things are working fine you should be able to browse the internet now.  Please open a browser and load your favorite web site.  You may also want to send a picture message just to confirm that it is working properly as well

In case you are having trouble connecting to the internet, please do make sure that you do have a proper data plan enabled for the sim card and the mobile data option is enabled on the phone, please check this video for further instructions
