O2 apn settings – easy setup Guide.   In this post we are going to assist you in properly configuring the fastest and most reliable O2 APN Settings on your phone, be it an Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One m9, LG G3, iPhone 6S, Motorola, etc… you name them!  The settings are all equal for them

Sometimes you might hear people calling them Mobile internet settings or MMS Settings for O2, they refer to the same setup which is needed to properly browse the internet on your mobile phone

Below is the information you will need to use when going into the APN menu on your phone, make sure you correctly set them up.

Name: O2 Internet
APN: mobile.o2.co.uk  for pay montly use wap.o2.co.uk
Proxy: Not Required
Port: Not Required
Username: o2web
Password: password
Server: Not Required
MMSC: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002


MMS proxy: 82.132.254.1
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 10
Authentication type: Not Required or just use the default value shown

O2 apn Settings – Step by Step configuration:

Before we get into the steps to configure them into the phone, please do make sure that you have purchased a valid data plan and the data service is enabled on your phone.  Let’s begin:

For the Android users: Please go into Settings>More>Mobile networks>Access Point Names>Menu>.  Insert a NEW APN and type in the information from above.  Video instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SI9NBWYn2Vo

For the iPhone or iPad users – you should go to Settings, Mobile Data or Cellular Data, then tab on Mobile Data Network or Cellular Data network and type in the APN info

If everything is setup properly, you should see the small 4G or LTE sign on the notification bar, for older phone models, you might see H+, 3G or Edge.  If that’s the case, you are all set.  Enjoy the mobile internet!
