How to change APN Settings on iPhone 7

As you may have noticed already, since some time ago, apple has started restricting the access of the APN Settings menu, this is mainly to prevent user from playing around with those settings and screwing them up.  In theory they have implement a system that the APN Settings is automatically downloaded from the carrier to your iPhone to make your life easier!

However, this doesn’t work fine all the time.  Especially when you are travelling abroad and those settings are not transferred automatically.  For this, there are two steps that you can try.

Reset APN Settings.  Sometimes resetting will make the APN Settings come in automatically and will fix most issues.  Go to Settings, General, Reset, and tab on Reset Network Settings, this will clean up and reset your wifi passwords and apn, cellular settings on the phone
