Net10 apn settings – Easy Setup guide. Now that the prepaid phone is the most common way to get cellular services, mainly due to the launch of new smartphones now and then, which makes consumer not want to attach to a contract, instead they can buy whatever phone they like and sign up with a carrier that offers the most competitive plans. Net10 is a Verizon MVNO, which means it operates under the Verizon Infrastructure
Without doubt, Net 10 is one of the biggest players in the prepaid cell phone market, which allows you to Bring your own device (BYOD) and sign up with their plans, no contact, no attach! If you happen to have net10 as your provider and want to setup the internet, we are going to teach you quickly how to setup the net10 apn settings working right away
Net10 apn Settings – Choose your service provider:
As you might know already, there Net10 offers their service from both AT&T and TMobile, this is because they are a kind of re-seller of their service (they don’t have their own infrastructure). That’s why it is important that you select the service that corresponds to your service provider . This will help fix the issue of not being able to connect to the internet or not able to send or receive text messages on net10
Net10 AT&T APN service
If the one you are running on is AT&T, please enter the following values on the APN:
Name: net10
APN: tfdata
MMSC: http://mms-tf.net
MMS proxy: mms3.tracfone.com
MMS port: 80
The rest of the fields can be left empty
Net10 T-Mobile APN service
If on the other hand your net 10 service is based on T-Mobile network, use these values instead:
Name: net10
APN: wap.tracfone
MMSC: http://mms.tracfone.com
MMS proxy: Leave in blank
MMS port: 8080
Again, rest of the fields should be left empty
