T-Mobile APN Settings

Need to fix the data on your phone? This are the correct APN Settings for your T-Mobile (USA) phone.  These configurations are not required to be touched normally, however if you are facing issues with your connectivity or not able to send or receive multimedia messages, you may want to review and make sure you have the correct APN Settings

There are also cases where you may experience slow connection on your phone.  There are different version of APNs which can be configured on your phone – it doesn’t matter whether you have an iPhone (iOS), Android devices or Windows phone, they all share the same, however they differ based on the network speed your phone can support. E. g. the latest models can support LTE 4G connections, which will allow you to download data up to 40 or 50 mbps, meaning you can watch a high definition or even 4K video on your phone

Which is the correct APN Settings for T Mobile

As mentioned above, in case you need to check or update or APN Settings, follow these steps:

For Android Users: Settings / More / Mobile Networks and then you will See the Access Point Names menu

For iPhone or iPad: in the main Screen go to Setup, General, Network and you will see Mobile Data.

If you have already an T-Mobile APN created on the phone, select it and go to EDIT, otherwise you can hit MENU and Create a NEW APN.

These are the values you should have:

Name: T-MOBILE – This field is irrelevant for the functionality, you can just use any name

APN: epc.tmobile.com  if you have an LTE phone, you should use fast.tmobile.com instead

Proxy: Leave in Blank – Not set

Port: Leave in Blank – Not set

Username: Leave in Blank – Not set

Password: Leave in Blank – Not set

Server: Leave in Blank – Not set

MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

MMS proxy: Leave in Blank – Not set

MMS port: Leave in Blank – Not set

MCC: 310

MNC: 260

Authentication type: Leave in Blank – Not set

APN type: default,supl,mms (this fields is important so that your MMS features can work properly, they have a comma in between with no spaces).  If you use a samsung device (e. g. Galaxy phones) you will have an option that shows a radio botton internet+MMS – please select this one

APN Protocol: Leave in Blank – Not set
