OMG!!! thank you so much for posting this for the public. I have been going about 1.5 months without internet on my phone without wifi and was driving me crazy. decided I would research and see if I could do something in the settings to get it to work and it did after inserting the information!!! I am so excited right now!!!!
I got it to work. Thanks. However, it did say that APN type “dun” was not supported by this carrier. So I simply removed it and it worked.
Hi Jared, yes, sometimes it is not needed, important thing is that you have data now on your phone
Thank God for this page. After hrs of wasted time with tech support I decided to try this and tah dah..I now have mobile data.
Great to hear! are you also able to send and receive MMS?
I can do everything except send and receive mms please help nothing is working
Hi, do you have the MMS portion setup? what value you have under apn type?
I been having the same problem..set everything to what was supplied at the top and cant sent pics
I spent two hours on the phone last week with the bring your own phone and switch to straight talk and all I have is data usage. I can not make calls or receive calls or send text messages. This site confirms that they have me the wrong apn settings. And wiped the phone so I can not find it or add my old service and apn settings to restore it. Thanks Customer service.
MMS worked with your settings but I only get 3g so I changed the app to tracfone.Vzwentp
This killed me but gave me 4g speeds up to 30mbs from 2mbs
The word App is suppose to be apn
The word me is suppose to be mms
These settings gave me 3g speed, not 4g and also still no MMS
Ok, I got 4G data working but cannot send MMS.
I have called Straight Talk several times. I have data and can send/receive text, but cannot do the same for MMS. Has anyone found a solution to this?
Were you able to figure it out?
I have been on the phone with straight talk and still not able to receive MMS messages, so frustrated, what else can I do besides download another app, that is suppose to solve the issue but doesn’t. I thought this was suppose to be easy
This page is a life save! Thank you! Moved from Verizon to straight talk and what a pain. but now it all works!
Straight Talk tech support told me to use tracfone.Vzwentp
That gave me 4G, but I could not send MMS.
The APN info. listed here only gives me 3G, but I can send MMS.
What can I use so that I have 4G and MMS ability?
Hi, please take a look at the solution I posted on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66Y5lI0J-sE
